Randall Ray Balentine

MISHAWAKA - Randall Ray Balentine, 37, of East Lawrence Street, Mishawaka, Ind., died on Sunday, Feb. 8, following an automobile accident. Mr. Balentine was born on July 15, 1960, to Burlon and Earlene Balentine in Mishawaka.

He is survived by his mother, Earlene Funkhouser of Mishawaka; a son, John Paul

Vanett of South Bend, Ind.; three sisters, Sherry Hickey of Mishawaka, Cindy Balentine of Mishawaka and Lisa Funkhouser of Lansing, Mich.; and by a brother, Russell Funkhouser of South Bend. He was preceded in death by his father, Burlon Ray Balentine, who passed away on Feb. 20, 1980.

Mr. Balentine was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He was employed as an auto mechanic for Jordan Motors in Mishawaka.

Services for Mr. Balentine will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday at the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka, followed by military burial rites by the United States Marine Corps at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
