Granvel L. Ballentine

MISHAWAKA - Granvel L. Ballentine,
54, of 1210 W. Sixth St., died at 5:50 p.m. Monday in St. Joseph
Hospital, following an illness. Mr. Ballentine was a painter. He
was born Jan. 23, 1940, in Florence, Ala., and lived in this area
for the past 38 years, coming from Alabama. Surviving are a son,
Bruce Loyd of South Bend; and five brothers, William C. and
Vernon, both of Florence, Robert T. of Freeport, La., Edward of
Little Rock, Ark., and Leon of Mishawaka.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday in Bubb
Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St. Cremation will take place.
Friends may call after 1 p.m. Thursday until time of services in
the funeral home.
