Terry Allen Balmer, 41, of Princeton
Court, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 5, in
Memorial Hospital, South Bend, Ind. Mr. Balmer was born on June
8, 1959, in Mishawaka, as the son of Sylvester and Germaine (Hutsebout)
Balmer. He was preceded in death by his father, Sylvester, who
died in 1979, and his mother, Germaine, who died on May 6, 1990.
Mr. Balmer was a self-employed roofer.
He is survived by three daughters, Sarah
Williamson of South Bend, Jenay Elkins of Florida and
Desiree Chrieslieb of Walkerton, Ind.; a son, Terry Balmer
Jr. of Goshen, Ind.; three brothers, Carl (Robbie) Balmer of
Mishawaka, John Balmer of South Bend and Richard (Connie) Balmer
of Heber Springs, Ark.; an uncle, Robert Balmer of Arizona; six
nieces, Jessica Belle, Robbieann Balmer, Carlena Balmer,
Cherilynn Gill, Kristen Giberson and Jamie Balmer;
four nephews, John Balmer Jr., Carl Balmer Jr., Richard Balmer
Jr. and Timothy Balmer; and by five great-nephews and three
great-nieces.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today, Sept. 7, in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 8, in the Hahn Funeral Home, with Rev. Dale Speckman officiating. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery, Woodland, Ind.
