John L. Bango

John L. Bango, 51, of Mishawaka, passed away Sunday, November 27, 2005. He was born on May 3, 1954, in South Bend, to Joseph and Elizabeth (Ignafol) Bango. John was employed by Madison Center and was honorably discharged from the United States Navy where he was stationed on the U.S.S. John F. Kennedy. He enjoyed woodworking, and also played the violin in the Varga-Bango Gypsy Band.

 

Surviving are three brothers, Jack Bango and Joseph Bango, both of Mishawaka, and Gary (Carolyn) Bango of South Bend; a nephew, Jason (Kym) Bango; two great-nephews, Kevin and Adam; an aunt, Margaret (Don) Sappington; two uncles, Alex (Echo) Ignafol and Jim Ignafol; and several cousins.

 

Funeral services will be conducted at noon Thursday, December 1, 2005, in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 S. Kemble Avenue. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
