BEND - Alberta G. Barber, 88, died Saturday, March 24, in
her home. Survivors include her beloved daughter and
son-in-law, Andrea and Jerry Blades of Park Forest, IL.
She was a devoted aunt to Connie, Patti and Chuck, and a
loyal friend to many. Alberta enjoyed playing bridge,
gardening and cooking wonderful meals. A memorial Mass
will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Jude's Catholic
Church. Contributions to the American Cancer Society. The
