Anna E. Barnaby, 93, of Countryside Place Health Care Center, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away at 9:42 p.m., Sunday, after an illness.

She was born Nov. 6, 1902, in Montgomery, Ala., moving to Kentucky in 1916, and moved to Mishawaka in 1928, from Terre Haute, Ind. As Anna Coffey, she married James Barnaby, who preceded her in death in 1959.

She is survived by a daughter, Shirley Yates of Mishawaka; six grandchildren, Dennis, James, David, Joseph Leroy, Debra and Tracy, all of Mishawaka; 14 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Charles T. Coffey of Hearin, Ill.

Mrs. Barnaby retired from Uniroyal after 15 years and from Fashion Cleaners after five years.

Friends may call Wednesday, from 4 to 7 p.m., at Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. Eighth St., Mishawaka. Funeral services will be Thursday, at 10 a.m., in Hahn Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Contributions may be made to Alzheimers Association.
