Mrs. Katherine Barna, 1217 S. Main St., died at 6:45 a.m. today in St. Joseph’s

Hospital, South Bend, after being ill three months.  She was born in Mohol,

Hungary, April 20, 1893, and came to Mishawaka 47 years ago from there.  Her

husband, John Barna, died Dec. 13, 1958.  Surviving are three sisters, Mrs.

Milton Hostetter of Mishawaka, and Mrs. Anthony Horvath and Mrs. John Klabusich,

both of South Bend.  Friends may call after 7 p.m. today in the Zahoran Funeral

Home, South Bend.

BARNA - Services for Mrs. Katherine Barna, 1217 S. Main St., Mishawaka, who died

Saturday morning, will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph's Catholic Church with

Msgr. Curt A. Suelzer, pastor, officiating.  Burial will be Fairview Cemetery. 

Pallbearers will be Frank Ripczo, John Klabusich, Milton Hostetter, John Major,

Michael Vercseg and Frank Kocsis.  Friends may call in the Zahoran Funeral Home,

South Bend, where the rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today.  Among the

survivors is a sister, Mrs. Mary Hostetter of South Bend
