Joseph Stephen Barnak, 32, of South Bend, Ind., passed away Monday, Nov. 25, 2002, at his home after a sudden illness. Joseph was born on Nov. 14, 1970, in St. Joseph, Mich., to the late Joseph Frank Barnak and Peggy Lee Huss Kimmerly of Michigan. Surviving with his mother is his sister, Becky (Steve) Bencsics of South Bend, Ind.; and his three nephews, Andrew, Adam, and Alec Bencsics of South Bend, Ind.
Joseph was employed with Logan Industries as a Habilitation Coordinator. He graduated from Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, Mich., in 1996 and Lakeshore High School, Stevensville, Mich., in 1989.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 5, 2002, at the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, Ind., where a Memorial service will take place at 7 p.m. the same evening of Thursday, Dec. 5, 2002, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place.
