SOUTH BEND - Memorial services for Clyde M. A. Barnes, 55, of Eisenhower Drive, who died at 1:49 p.m. Tuesday in his home after an illness, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Prince of Peace Church of the Brethren. Cremation will take place. Friends may call after services in the church. Welsheimer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or the church.

 

Mr. Barnes was a communications technician for Indiana Bell Telephone Co. and AT & T since 1963. He was born Dec. 2, 1939, in South Bend.

 

On Dec. 20, 1965, in Winamac, he married Diana Lebo. She survives with two sons, Scott of South Bend and Richard of Milwaukee; and two brothers, Valory of Granger and Roland of Mishawaka. He attended Coyne Electrical School, Chicago, was an Irish Youth Hockey League coach and referee and assistant soccer coach for Michiana Soccer Association. He was a member of the church and Indiana Bell Telephone Pioneers.
