Stacey Barth, 95, of Bremen
Healthcare Center, Bremen, Ind., died at 4:35 p.m. Sunday, Dec.
1, in the Community Hospital of Bremen. Mrs. Barth, a homemaker,
was born on July 4, 1901, in Warsaw, Poland. She had been a
resident of the area for most of her life.
On Feb. 16, 1920, in South Bend, Ind., as
Stacey Lyczynski, she married Arthur Barth. He preceded
her in death on April 6, 1986. She is survived by two sons,
Arthur Barth of Brooklyn, N.Y. and Richard Barth of South Bend;
two grandsons, Richard D. Barth of Phoenix, Ariz. and John A.
Barth of Mooresville, N.C., three great-grandchildren; and three
sisters, Evelyn Marzel and Marie Bordner, both of
South Bend, and Genevieve Spychalski of Mill Creek, Ind.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday,
Dec. 6, in St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church, where she was a
member. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in
Welsheimer Funeral Home, 17033 Cleveland Road. A wake prayer
service will take place at 3 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
Entombment will be in Highland Mausoleum.
