MISHAWAKA - Iva Jane Bauman, 69, of 527 Ballard St., died at 4:19 a.m. Friday (Aug. 13, 2004) at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka. She was born on October 21, 1934, in Mishawaka, to Barney and Clara (Barrier) James.

 

Surviving are four daughters, Peggy Lee (David) North of Mishawaka, Patricia Ann Robbins of Panama City, Florida, Sandra Lee (Jack) Thompson of Mishawaka and Cathy Jo (Chris) Plomb, also of Mishawaka; seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters, Cindy (Matt) May of Mishawaka, Shirley (Duane) Wurtsbaugh of South Bend and Lucille (Chuck) Allen of Edwardsburg, MI. Two brothers, Bill (Ila) Plummer, South Bend, and Ross Coats of South Bend. Mrs. Bauman was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson, Christopher Robbins, and 1 brother, Pete James.

 

The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m. today, August 15, 2004, at Zimmerman-Inman Funeral Home, Osceola Chapel. The service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, August 16, 2004, at Zimmerman-Inman Funeral Home, Osceola Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Peter Rowe of the Apostolic Temple in South Bend. Entombment will be in Fairview Cemetery in Mishawaka. Mrs. Bauman was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking. Memorial contributions may be given to The Pet Refuge, 2300 W. Sixth Street, Mishawaka, IN 46544. Envelopes for contributions are available at the funeral home.
