Dec. 15, 1914 - July 14, 2001

NORTH JUDSON — Rose E. Bau, 86, of 5280 S. County Road 600 West, died Thursday in Our Lady of Holy Cross Care Center. Survivors include three sons, Daniel of North Judson, Walter of Cave City, Ky., and Anthony of Knox; and two sisters, Mary J. Rush of Wanatah, and Margaret Hewlit of Valparaiso. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in SS. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday in O'Donnell Funeral Home, where a rosary will be said at 7 p.m.

Editor: South Bend Tribune must have an error, as it says here obituary appeared one month before she died.  Her actual date of death was 6-14-2001 as confirmed by social security death index.  Her maiden name was Rose Esther Kutkiewicz, She married Joseph John Bau.
