Perry S. Baxter
After an illness of nine months, Perry S. Baxter, aged 60, died at 10:30 p.m.
Thursday in the home of Earl Allman, 347 South Beiger street, where he lived. 
Death followed a heart attack.  Mr. Baxter was born July 5, 1880, in Marshall
county.  He had lived here for the last 28 years.
     Surviving are two step-daughters, Mrs. Harry Hammond, of Mishawaka, and
Mrs. Walter James, of Kalamazoo, Mich.; four step-sisters, Mrs. Arthur Miller
and Mrs. Charles Chaplin, of Plymouth, Ind., and Miss Ella Dickson and Mrs.
Harry Launer, of South Bend, and two step-brothers, William Dickson of
Plymouth, and Ermine Dickson, of Rochester, Ind.
     Friends may call at the Losson B. Hunt funeral home, South Bend, until
the hour of the funeral services which will be there at 2 p.m. Saturday.  Rev.
G. B. Rowe, pastor of Midway Gospel Tabernacle, will officiate and burial will
be in Fairview cemetery.
