Francis Keith Beaver

Francis Keith Beaver, 83, of Mishawaka, Ind., beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, passed away the morning of November 10, 2003, in his home of natural causes. He was born on December 1, 1919, in Huntington, Ind., to Maurice W. and Dorothy E. Beaver, who preceded him in death.

 

On August 16, 1942, he married the love of his life, Mildred J. Stump (Beaver) in Mishawaka, who also preceded him in death. He is survived by their children, Jerry K. (Mary Ann) Beaver of South Bend, Ind., Terry W. (Jane) Beaver and Sandra K. (Steve) Beaver-Snyder, both of Mishawaka. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Keith A. Beaver, Ryan F. Beaver, Todd A. Beaver, Scott A. Beaver, Sarah A. Stepp, Jennifer R. Beaver, Brian J. Beaver, Jeffery E. Snyder, Timothy F. Snyder and Melissa K. Snyder; his sister, Mary A. Tester of Tennessee; and by two brothers, Robert B. Beaver of Mishawaka and Paul D. Beaver of California. He was very blessed to enjoy 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Phillip J. Beaver; a sister, Juanita June McCoy; two brothers, Maurice A. Beaver and Ronald W. Beaver.

 

Mr. Beaver was a member of the Willow Creek United Methodist Church, Mishawaka. He retired from Uniroyal (Ball Band) in 1974 after 35 years of employment. He also served in the Civil Conservation Corps Camp. He enjoyed fishing with his grandsons, yard work, riding his John Deere, spending time with his family and friends, attending church, and telling many stories of his younger years. He will be missed by all.

 

Friends and family will be received from 4 until 8 p.m. on Friday, November 14, 2003, at the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 North Main St., Mishawaka. Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday at the Willow Creek United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to Willow Creek United Methodist Church, Mishawaka.
