SOUTH BEND - Francis D. Beaverson,
75, of 218 E. Navarre St., died at 3:45 a.m. Thursday in Meridian
Nursing Center-Cardinal of natural causes. Mr. Beaverson retired
in 1982 from Yellow Freight as a truck driver after 16 years of
service. He was born Oct. 7, 1919, in South Bend, and was a
lifelong area resident. He is survived by a sister, Helen Miller
of Granger; and two nephews, Keith Miller of South Bend and Jack
Miller of Granger. He was a veteran of World War II and a member
of Loyal Order of Moose.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in
Guisinger Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will be in
Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
today in the funeral home.
