SOUTH BEND - Gertrude L. Becker, 84,
of 33rd Street, died at 9:55 a.m. Saturday in Regency Place. Mrs.
Becker was born June 20, 1911, in Cincinnati. On Jan. 11, 1936,
in Cincinnati, as Gertrude L. Boehringer, she married LeRoy H.
Becker. He died Jan. 14, 1965. She is survived by a daughter,
Judy Norman of Macy; five grandchildren; 10
great-grandchildren; and a friend, Ila Pierce of South
Bend.
She was a member of Albright United
Methodist Church, Mishawaka, and was a volunteer for St. Joseph
Hospital, Mishawaka, Goodwill Industries and Dial-A-Care.
Cremation will take place with burial in
Cincinnati. There will be no visitation. Bubb Funeral Chapel,
Mishawaka is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions
may be made to the church Dial-A-Care program.
