MISHAWAKA - Allen E. Beckham, 83, of
Stanley Street, died at 8:57 a.m. Sunday in St. Joseph Hospital.
Mr. Beckham retired in 1975 from Bendix Corp. Automotive Division
after 32 years of service. He was born May 28, 1911, in Fort
Lauderdale County, Ala. He is survived by his wife, Maudie (White)
Beckham; a daughter, Ann D. Richardson of Colleyville,
Texas; two grandchildren; a great-grandson; and a sister,
Christine Warrington of Collinwood, Tenn. He was a member
of the First United Methodist Church and United Auto Workers
Local 9, South Bend.
Graveside services and burial will be held
at Bluebonnet Hills Cemetery, Colleyville. Bubb Funeral Chapel is
in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to
the St. Joseph County Chapter of the Diabetes Foundation or the
church.
