Adam E. Berger

Adam E. Berger, 88, of Cedar Road, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away at 12:30 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 30, in Millers Merry Manor, Wakarusa, Ind. Adam was born in St. Joseph County on Jan. 19, 1912, and was a lifelong area resident. He was a retired farmer.

 

On May 20, 1936, in Lydick, Ind., Adam married Bernice Parcell, who passed away on Sept. 30, 1999. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Emil and Rosa Berger; and by two sisters, Paula Rogers and Ida Berger. He is survived by two daughters, Mary Lavallee and Judith A. Hiner, both of Mishawaka; a son, Phillip Berger of Arizona; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Minnie Zahner and Sophie Zeiger, both of Mishawaka; and by two brothers, Harold Berger of Mishawaka and Joe Berger of Arizona.

 

Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 4, in the Kingdom Hall, 123 Bain Avenue, Mishawaka. The Bubb Funeral Chapel North is handling arrangements.
