Glenn E. Beron, 48, of 525 S. 31st, died at 12:15am today in Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient a week.  He was an employee of Kamille Foods Co., LaPorte.

 

Born on February 17, 1927, in North Liberty, he had lived here 13 years, coming from North Liberty.  On June 30, 1962, in North Liberty, he married Tressie Hackworth, who survives.  Also surviving are his mother, Mrs. Edna Wilkinson of South Bend; a stepson, Bob Risner of South Bend; a daughter, Mrs. Linda Cuppens of South Bend; two grandchildren; a brother, John of South Carolina, and a sister, Mrs. Ruth Holmes of North Liberty.

 

Services will be at 2pm Wednesday in the Orvis-Palmer Funeral Home, 336, N. Main.  Rev. Kenneth Peterson, pastor of the St John Lutheran Church, North Liberty, will officiate.  Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.

 

Friends may call form 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Tuesday in the funeral home.  Beron was a WW II Navy veteran.
