SOUTH BEND - Milan Beslac, 94, of South Taylor Street, died at 5:57 p.m. Friday in Memorial Hospital. Mr. Beslac retired from South Bend Street Department. He was born Sept. 21, 1901, in Lika Dobro Selo Donji Lapac, Yugoslavia.

 

On Dec. 18, 1948, in Grossenbrode, Germany, he married Manda Uzelac. She survives with four daughters, Mileva Rapajic of Sydney, Australia, Ljubica Medic of Belgrade, Yugoslavia, Sophia Savich of Redlands, Calif., and Melica Taylor of Niles; two sons, Djuro and Milic, both of Belgrade; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. He was a member of St. Peter and Paul Serbian Orthodox Church.

 

Services will be at noon Tuesday in the church. Burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in Zahoran Funeral Home, where a prayer service will be at 7 p.m., and one hour before services Tuesday in the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
