Friends of Sister Mary Faustine CSC, 87, who died Tuesday in Saint Mary’s Convent, may call at the convent parlor until 7 p.m. today in the Church of Our Lady of Loretto on the St. Mary’s campus. Burial will be in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery on the campus.

She was born Maria Olga Beume in Germany in 1979. She entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross in 1911 and received the habit in 1912. She made her profession of vows in 1914. During her community life she was assigned to missions in Salt Lake City, Deming, NM, and St. Mary’s. She is survived by a niece in Germany.
