SOUTH BEND - Eileen S. Beyers, 79, of East Bowman Street, South Bend, Ind., died at 4:15 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 24, in St. Joseph's Medical Center.

She was born on Jan. 13, 1919, in Chicago, Ill., and had lived here most of her life.

Eileen retired from Uniroyal after 30 years of service.

She is survived by five nieces, Joyce Scott, Marie Garatoni, Debra Davis and Terri Abbott, all of Osceola, Ind., and Beverly Beyers of South Bend.

Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. on Monday in the Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 435 S. Ironwood.

Services will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday in the Ridgedale Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Harris Schultz officiating. Entombment will follow in Riverview Mausoleum.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or to the Humane Society.
