Kenneth F. Bidlack

Kenneth F. Bidlack, 79, of Pierce Road, Bremen, Ind., passed away at 4:25 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 23, in Memorial Hospital, South Bend, Ind.

 

Kenneth was born April 11, 1922, in Mishawaka, Ind., as the son of the late John B. and Jennie (Williams) Bidlack. Kenneth was also preceded in death by four brothers, Arnold, Gerry, Joe and Donald Bidlack.

 

On June 24, 1944, in South Bend, Kenneth married the former Leona Tesmer. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Leona; one son, Gerry (Connie) Bidlack of Granger, Ind.; two grandchildren, David (Renee) Krug of Phoenix, Ariz., and Chris (Dawn) Krug of Osceola, Ind.; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Gertrude Broadstreet of Mishawaka; and by two brothers, Richard Bidlack and Gene Bidlack, both of South Bend.

 

Kenneth retired from the former Wheel-A-Brator Frye Corporation in Mishawaka after 44 years where he was a carpenter. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church Woodland, the Madison Township Lions, Mishawaka Eagles 2084, the BK Club, and was past president of Wheel-A-Brator Frye UAW Local #3 Union, Plymouth Moose.

 

Friends may call from 4 P.M. to 7 P.M. today, Dec. 26, in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday, Dec. 27, in the funeral home, with Rev. Tom Padberg officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park Cemetery, Granger. Contributions, in lieu of flowers, in memory of Kenneth may be made to the Hospice of Marshall County 112 S. Center Street, Plymouth, IN 53563.
