Leonard F. Biegalski

Leonard F. Biegalski, 68, of 2005 Waterview Court, died at 1:30pm Thursday in Memorial Hospital. He retired in 1989 after 12 years with Huckins Tool & Die Co, where he was a toll and die maker.

 

He was born May 17, 1923, in South Bend, and was a lifetime area resident.  On August 3, 1946, in South Bend, he married Helen J. Graykowski.  She survives with a sister, Lorraine Kopinski of South Bend, and a niece.  He was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church and American Turners.  He was past commander of South Bend Power Squadron, a member of US Power Squadron, past president of Michiana Kennel Club and an Army veteran of WW II.

 

Memorial services will be at a later date.  Cremation will take place at Michiana Crematory.  There will be no visitation.  Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park.  Welsheimer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  Memorial contributions may be made to the church or the diabetes Association of St Joseph County.
