Gail Lynn Binion

April 9, 1961 - June 12, 2000

Gail Lynn Binion, 39, of Laurelwood Drive, South Bend, Ind., was called home on Monday, June 12, to be with our heavenly father.

Gail was born on April 9, 1961, in Pine Bluff, Ark., to the union of the late J.C. and Edna Jean (Hunter) Dokes. She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Darnisha Hughes. She had lived in South Bend since her early childhood.

In South Bend, on April 18, 1990, she and Billy Binion were united in wedlock. She was employed by Ramada Inn of South Bend.

Gail Lynn leaves behind to share her loving memory a husband, Billy Ray Binion; two daughters, Angel Reed and Shamika Binion; two sons, Terry Bailey and Sam Binion; a grandson, Tevon Dewayne Triston Bailey; six sisters, Gaynelle (Obel) Kilgore of Omaha, Neb., Joetta (Robert) Wilson, Patricia Ann Dokes, Toni (Roosevelt) Binion, Sharon Dokes and Aranda Dokes; four brothers, James (Barbara) Dokes, Larry (Mary) Dokes, Ronald (Glenda) Dokes and Eric (Yolanda) Dokes, all of South Bend; a special friend, Lisa Hall; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Binion will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 19, in Alford's Mortuary. Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, June 18, in Alford's Mortuary, where arrangements have been entrusted.
