Mishawaka - Services for Irma Birocci, 79, of 524 W. Ninths Street, who died Wednesday morning in her home, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Hahn’s DeVos Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Friday in the funeral home, where a wake service will be a t 7:30 p.m.

Mrs. Birocci retired from Uniroyal in 1968 after 35 years. She was born Feb. 5, 1909 in Bern, Switzerland. On Nov. 27, 1926 in South Bend as Irma Nicolini, she married Julius Birocci. He died Jan. 31, 1979. Surviving are a son, Richard of South Bend; a granddaughter; and two great-grandchildren. Mrs. Birocci was a member of St. Bavo’s Catholic Church and the DeAmicis Club Auxilliary.
