BLASCZYK – Funeral services for John Chester Blasczyk, 49, of 752 S. Illinois St. will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Very Rev. Msgr. Elmer Peterson, pastor, officiating. Mr. Blasczyk, died Saturday after suffering an apparent heart attack in his automobile. An employee of Studebaker Corp., Mr. Blaszczyk was born on May 28, 1914. He married Alice (Elsie) Kazmierzak, who survives, on Sept. 22, 1934, in Walkerton. Also surviving are his parents, Mr. And Mrs. Stanley Cencelewski: a son Robert John, a daughter, Sharon Ann, at home: a sister, Mrs. Helen Stachowiak: two brothers, Stanley and Benjamin, and three grandchildren, all of South Bend. He was a member of the Studebaker Athletic Assn. Friends may call after 7 p.m. today at the St. Joseph Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
