Teofil Blaszczyk, age 49, of 2502 West Huron street, died Tuesday afternoon at 3:15 o’clock in the residence after a nine days’ illness of pneumonia. He was born in Poland March 8, 1879, and had lived in this city 25 years, coming here from Poland. Surviving are his wife Salomeja: two daughters, Mrs. Helen Stachowiak and Mrs. Agnes Blaszczyk, and three sons, John, Benjamin and Constantine Blaszczyk, all of South Bend; and one brother John Blaszczyk and a sister, Mrs. Mary Ogorzewski, both of Poland. The body may be viewed in the home until the time of the funeral which will be held in St. Adalbert’s Roman Catholic church at 9 o’clock Saturday morning. The Rev. John Osadnik, the pastor, will officiate and burial will be in St. Joseph’s cemetery.
