8, 2009 - March 5, 2010MISHAWAKA - Rhett Abraham Bliss, 3 months old, of Mishawaka, IN, passed to his rest on Friday, March 5, 2010, after an illness. He was born on December 8, 2009, in South Bend, the son of Abraham L. Bliss and Melissa S. Rybicki. He had been a patient at Memorial Hospital of South Bend's NICU since his birth. He was a special baby who loved to be held against his Mom and Dad's chest, to have his feet rubbed, and to hold the finger belonging to anyone who wanted to say hello. He will be cherished forever as the beautiful, strong, courageous fighter he was. He touched the lives of every person lucky enough to have met him. He will be deeply missed and loved forever. Rhett is survived by his mother, Melissa Rybicki of Mishawaka; his father, Abraham Bliss of Elkhart; his identical twin brother, Dylan Bliss of Mishawaka; his maternal grandparents, Patrick and Marcia Rybicki of South Bend, and paternal grandmother, Deborah Taylor of Elkhart. He has two loving aunts, Michelle Rybicki of South Bend and Nicole Rybicki of South Bend. A special uncle, Adam Bliss (Elizabeth) of Bristol, and maternal grandmothers, Betty Hunter of Mishawaka and Bonnie Sponseller of Elkhart. Rhett was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Danny LeMunyon in 2008; his maternal great-grandfather, Joseph Hunter in 1975; and his paternal great-grandfather, Richard Sponseller, in 2000. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 9th, from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Burial will follow the service.
