Sister Mary Cora CSC, 83, of Saint Mary’s Convent, died Wednesday evening in the convent after a long illness. Born Eva Mary Blui on Feb. 25, 1897 in Ketowizko, Poland, she entered the Congregation of Sisters of the Holy Cross on March 18, 1916. She was received as a novice on Aug. 4, 1916, and made her profession of vows on Aug. 6, 1918. During her professional life she served as a housekeeper in convents in Idaho, Ohio and Utah. From 1933 to 1951 she was assigned to St. Mary’s Convent, where she returned in 1968.

 

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Our Lady of Loretto Church, with internment in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery. Friends may call Friday and Saturday in the convent parlor, where a wake service will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
