Hildreth R. Boehnlein

Sept. 20, 1912 - Feb. 5, 1998

Hildreth R. Boehnlein, 85, formerly of East 4th Street, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away after a lengthy illness at 6:05 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 5, in Fountainview Place, Mishawaka. Hildreth was born on Sept. 20, 1912, in Jackson, Ohio, to Charles and Sola (Ferguson) Cole, who preceded her in death. She moved to Mishawaka in 1921 and married Raymond J. Boehnlein on Nov. 22, 1934, in St. Joseph Church, Mishawaka. He preceded her in death on July 28, 1981. She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Harnetta and Garnetta Cole and Dorothy Siler; and by a brother, Charles Cole, Jr.

She is survived by several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

Hildreth retired in 1974 from the Wheelabrator-Frye Corporation in Mishawaka after 22 years of service.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the church's Rosary Society, the Daughters of Isabella, and the Catholic Order of Forresters where she had served as a vice-president.

Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. on Sunday in the Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home, where a Rosary will be recited at 3:30 p.m.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday in St. Joseph Church, with Fr. Robert A. Yast officiating. Interment will follow in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, Ind.
