SOUTH BEND - James Bogan, 60, of
Beaumont, Texas, formerly of South Bend, died at 12:15 p.m.
Monday in Baptist Hospital, Beaumont, after an illness. Mr. Bogan
retired in 1985 from the U.S. Postal Service, South Bend. He was
born April 11, 1933, in Beaumont, and lived in South Bend until
1986.
He is survived by two daughters, Maria Mitchell
and Kara Hunter, both of South Bend; a son, Romney of
Mishawaka; three grandchildren; his mother, Velma Bogan of
Beaumont; and three sisters, Bobbie Jean Haley of Texas
City, Texas, and Gretha Davis and Rira Glover of
Beaumont. He was a veteran of the Korean War.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m.
Friday in St. James United Methodist Church, Beaumont. Burial
will Magnolia Cemetery, Beaumont. Friends may call from 4 to 7
p.m. today in Community Funeral Chapel, Beaumont.
