Rev. Victor J. Boisvert CSC, 79, of Holy Cross House, Notre Dame, died Friday night in St. Joseph Medical Center, South Bend, after an illness. He was born April 26, 1907 in Waterloo, NY. He made his first profession of vows in the Congregation of Holy Cross on Jul 2, 1929, the graduated in 1933 from Notre Dame. He studied theology at Holy Cross College, Washington DC, and was ordained into the priesthood in 1937 at Sacred Heart Church at Notre Dame. He has served at the University of Portland; St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas; and Notre Dame, as well as in missions in Pearlington, Miss.; North Easton, Mass.; and Rancho San Antonio in Chatsworth, Calif. He has resided at Holy Cross House since 1957.

Friends may call after 3:30 p.m. Monday in Moreau Seminary, where a wake service will be at 7:30 p.m. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Church, with burial in the Holy Cross Community Cemetery on the campus.
