SOUTH BEND - Joyce Ann (Karaszewski) Bokor, 65, of South
Bend, IN passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2008 in her home.
Joyce was born on November 6, 1942 in South Bend to Alex and
Virginia (Cobb) Bokor and was a lifelong resident. She
retired from 1st Source Bank. Survivors include two daughters,
Dawn A. Karaszewski of South Bend, IN and Kerri L.
Karaszewski of South Bend, IN; one son, Kirk J. (Christina)
Karaszewski of South Bend, IN; three sisters, Ginger (Dick)
Graham of Witchita, KS, Rita Dorhouer of Metarie, LA, and
Rosemarie Bokor of Mishawaka, IN; and two brothers, Mack (Joyce) Smiegielski
of New Paris, IN and David Bokor of South Bend, IN. She was
preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Robert Bokor.
Funeral Services will be held at Noon, Monday, November 10, 2008 in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until Noon on Monday in the funeral home. Joyce was a 1960 graduate of Central High School where she was a member of the gymnastic and tumblers team. She enjoyed bowling and bowled at the former Beacon Bowl in South Bend. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
