Cecelia A. Boocher

Cecelia A. Boocher, 76, of Cleveland Road, Granger, Ind., passed away at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 16, in her residence.

 

Mrs. Boocher had been employed by A.C. Rich as a secretary. She was born on Feb. 16, 1926, in South Bend, Ind., to Joseph and Anna Vida.

 

On July 29, 1946, in South Bend, as Cecelia Vida, she married Richard C. Boocher, who survives. She is also survived by a daughter, Nancy (Andrew) Rentz of Canton Township, Mich.; two sons, Wallace (Susan) Boocher and Jeffery (Jean) Boocher, both of South Bend; 10 grandchildren, Kirk Rentz, Liam Rentz, Eathan (Andrea) Rentz, Stephen Borg, Ehren Borg, Steven Boocher, Nick Boocher, Katie Boocher, Daniel Boocher and Sara Boocher; and by four great-grandchildren, Hannah, Taylor, Carter and Avery.

 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, April 19, in Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery.

 

Family and friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 S. Kemble Avenue, where a Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
