SOUTH BEND - Judith Borkowski, 64, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 26 at 8:02 p.m. in Memorial Hospital, South Bend.' Judith was born April 26, 1943, in North Liberty, IN, to the late Lloyd and Irene (Awald) Singleton.

On January 9, 1965, she married Clem Borkowski; he preceded her in death on January 16, 2006. She is survived by her two children, Beth Borkowski of South Bend and Michael (Stacey) Borkowski of Colorado Springs, CO; four grandchildren, Benjamin Borkowski, Maddison Borek, Zoey Borkowski and Haley Borkowski; and two brothers, Ken Singleton of North Liberty and Lloyd "Dude" Singleton of LaPorte. Judy worked as a bus driver for the South Bend School Corporation for 26 years. She enjoyed summer days with her friends fishing and camping.

A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Monday, March 31 at 5 p.m. in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, South Bend. Rev. Erv Mize will be officiating. Cremation will take place.
