SOUTH BEND - Harriette C. Borsodi, 81, formerly of Larchway, South Bend, Ind., died at 8:40 a.m. in Holy Cross Care and Rehabilitation Center, South Bend. Mrs. Borsodi was born Oct. 11, 1915, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident. She retired in 1982 from St. Mary's College, South Bend.
She was married April 3, 1937, in South Bend, as Harriette C. Dorn, to Michael E. Borsodi, who preceded her in death on Feb. 3, 1983. A son, Michael Borsodi, also preceded her in death in 1960.
She is survived by two brothers, Walter (Amelia) Dorn and Frank (Carrie) Dorn, both of South Bend; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Borsodi was a member of St. Anthony dePadua Catholic Church, and the Harvest House of Holy Cross Catholic Church.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. on Monday in the St. Joseph Funeral Home, where a rosary will be said at 4 p.m. Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday in the St. Joseph Funeral Home.
