Leonard K. Boswell
July 26, 1946 -- Sept. 9, 2006
Leonard K. Boswell, 60, of South
Bend, IN, passed away at 2:45 p.m. Saturday, September 9, 2006,
in Hospice House. He was born on July 26, 1946, in Peru, IN, to
Marion and Gaythal (Robins) Boswell. Mr. Boswell is
survived by a daughter, Jodi (Jim) Tristler of Wabash, IN;
a son, Jeff (Amy) Boswell of Weston, FL; his mother, Gaythal
Boswell of Swayzee, IN; two brothers, Michael (Lisa) Boswell of
Swayzee, IN, and Marvin (Jean Ann) Boswell of Kokomo, IN; four
grandchildren; five nephews; and special friends, Leo and Belinda
Wiesinger of South Bend, IN. He was preceded in death by
his father, Marion, and by a brother, Lonnie Dale Boswell.
Mr. Boswell grew up in Swayzee, lived in
Kokomo, and had resided in South Bend for the last 20 years. He
graduated in 1964 from Swayzee High School, the last graduating
class. He served his country in the United States Army. Mr.
Boswell was a lifelong Chicago Cubs fan and enjoyed I.U.
basketball. He also enjoyed bowling and golfing.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m.
Wednesday, September 13, 2006, in the Palmer Funeral
Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St., South Bend, IN.
Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on
Wednesday, prior to the services. Contributions in memory of
