SOUTH BEND - Janice J. Botka, 41, of
Inglewood Place, died at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday of natural causes in
Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Botka was a loan processor for Inland
Mortgage Co., Mishawaka. She was born March 16, 1953, in Elkhart
and was a lifelong area resident.
On July 19, 1989, in South Bend, as Janice
J. Strychalski, she married Keith Botka. He survives with
a daughter, Jennifer Strychalski of South Bend; her father, James
Smith of Mishawaka; a sister, Connie Detar of
Greensburg, Pa.; and two brothers, Jim Smith of Goshen and John
Smith of Mishawaka.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in
Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St. Burial will be in
Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday in
the funeral home.
