SOUTH BEND - Mary L. Boyd, 65, of S.
Illinois Street, died at 12:38 p.m. Monday in Memorial Hospital
after an illness. Mrs. Boyd was born Nov. 20, 1928, in Tennessee,
and lived in South Bend for 50 years, coming from Tennessee.
On Dec. 23, 1943, in Tullahoma, Tenn., as
Mary L. Daniels, she married Joseph Boyd. He died Nov. 5,
1993. She is survived by three daughters, Rosemary Coleman
of Granger, Janice Hegedus of South Bend and Brenda Rottensteiner
of Mishawaka; five sons, Joseph Jr., Dan and David, all of South
Bend, Michael of Niles and Mark of Tullahoma; 17 grandchildren;
four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Bee Campbell of
Tullahoma.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in St.
Joseph Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home.
