MISHAWAKA - David G. Boyer, 79, of Chicago, formerly of 1529 Third St., died at 1:50 a.m. Monday in Swedish Covenant Hospital, Chicago. Mr. Boyer retired as a foundry worker. He was born May 17, 1915, in Miami County, Ind., and lived in Chicago for 28 years, going there from Chicago.
He is survived by two sisters, B. Maxine Myers of Plymouth and Ethel Masfeller of Rochester; and several nieces and nephews. He was a veteran of World War II.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the chapel of St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park Mausoleum. Burial will follow. There will be no visitation. Bubb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
