Rosilyn I. Boyer, 60, residing on Mayflower Road, South Bend, Ind., passed away of natural causes on Monday morning, Aug. 25, in her home. She retired from the Skillet Restaurant and the former Morrow's Restaurant as a waitress. She was born on Oct. 7, 1942, in South Bend, to Charles and Vada (Smith) Johnson, and was a lifelong area resident, having lived in River Park for 30 years.

 

On June 9, 1962, in South Bend, she married Jerry D. Boyer, who preceded her in death on Oct. 1, 1994. Mrs. Boyer is survived by her daughter, Susan (Richard) Johnson of South Bend; one son, Jerry D. (Rachel) Boyer Jr. of New Mexico; two granddaughters, Ashley and Rachel; and by a brother, Larry (Caroll) Johnson of Mesa, Ariz.

 

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 28, in Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend. The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. in the funeral home prior to the services on Thursday.  Contributions in memory of Rosilyn I.
