LYDICK - Mrs. Nina L. Boyles, 86, of
Chicago Trails Village, New Carlisle, Ind., formerly of Lydick,
Ind., passed away on Sunday morning, Jan. 18, at the Miller's
Merry Manor at New Carlisle. She was born on April 21, 1911, in
South Bend, Ind., to Myron and Ida (Fisher) Milliken.
On May 17, 1926, she married Robert L.
Boyles, who preceded her in death in 1967. She is survived by her
daughter, Marie Boyles of New Carlisle; her son, Robert of South
Bend; four grandchildren, Karen Jo Boyles, Cathy Lynn Staley,
Cynthia Ann Parent and James Myron Boyles; and by seven
great-grandchildren.
Nina was a lifelong resident of St. Joseph
County and a longtime member of the Lydick United Methodist
Church.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on
Tuesday at the Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William Street.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday in the
funeral home, with the Rev. Kevin Buckley officiating. Burial
will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Memorial contributions
may be made to the Hamilton Grove Benevolent Fund.
