Violet Bradway

SOUTH BEND - Violet (Sulok) Bradway, 74, of South Carlisle Street, died at 6:18 p.m. Sunday in her home after an illness. Mrs. Bradway was born Sept. 16, 1920, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident.

 

On May 13, 1944, in South Bend, as Violet Sulok, she married Willis L. Bradway. He died Feb. 15, 1992. She is survived by five sisters, Julia Wuergler, Anna Woofter, Margaret Nelson and Rose Zmyslo, all of South Bend, and Mary Vargo of Granger; and two brothers, Victor Sulok of South Bend and Charles Sulok of Vandalia. She was a member of Calvert Rod & Gun Club Auxiliary.

 

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today in Zahoran Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be said at 4 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County.
