Gladys M. Brady, 87, of Miami Circle, South Bend, Ind., passed away on Monday, March 18th, in the Southfield Village Community. Gladys was born on Sept. 26, 1914, in Remington, Ind., to Orie and Ella (Whitehead) Hensler, both of whom preceded her in death.

Gladys married Dean M. Brady on Nov. 21, 1931, in Mishawaka, Ind. He preceded her in death on Jan. 28, 1973. Gladys was also preceded in death by her son, Michael D. Brady in 1985. Gladys was a member of the Order of Eastern Star in Osceola, Ind. Gladys is survived by her daughter, Susan M. Cox of Osceola; three grandchildren, Michele R. Cox of Huntington Beach, Calif., Richard L. Cox of San Mateo, Calif., and Dean J. (Lori) Brady of Mishawaka; and by two great-grandchildren, Sara Brady and Derick Brady, both of Mishawaka.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 21st, in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka. The funeral service will be held at the funeral chapel at 10 a.m. Friday, March 22nd, with Rev. Robert Vale officiating. A private graveside committal will follow at the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association and to the American Heart Association.
