George S. Bramlett

January 16, 1907March 20, 1974

 

George S. Bramlett, 67, of 1238 Van Buren St., died at 5:18pm Wednesday in Memorial Hospital after an apparent heart attack.  He retired as an accountant for the Armour Meat Co in 1968.

 

Born January 16, 1907, in IL, he had lived here since 1942, coming from Springfield IL.  On May 18, 1947, in Chicago, he married Grace Hazel Caufmann, who died in 1964.  Surviving are two sons, David of Mishawaka and John of South Bend; two daughter, Mrs. Lucille Brown of South End and Mrs Annamae Coryell of Mishawaka; 11 grandchildren; a brother, Robert of Fontana CA and two sisters, Mrs. Lydia Johanson of Albers IL and Mrs. Grace Surber of Pawnee IL

 

Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9pm Friday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N William St.  Rev. Kenneth Manglesdorf, pastor of the St Peter’s Lutheran Church, Mishawaka, will officiate.  Services will be at 9am Saturday in the funeral home.  Burial will be in Memorial Park, Evanston IL.  He was a member of Moose Lodge 58.
