Louise Marie Braunsdorf

Mrs. Louise Marie Braunsdorf, 71, of 3424 Portsmouth Ct., Mishawaka, died at 1:37 a.m. today in Memorial Hospital of a lengthy illness.  She was a former employee of the City of South Bend.  Born on Sept. 25, 1909, in Kouts, Ind., she had lived in this area for 45 years. 

 

In 1955, she married Robert Braunsdorf, who died in 1965.  She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Carolyn March of Laguna Beach, Calif. and Mrs. Norma Clark of Jackson, Mich.; two sons, Robert and Warren, both of South Bend; 19 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a brother, William Johnson of Kouts.

 

Services will be at 9 a.m. Thursday in St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, of which she was a member.  Rev. William Dorwart, C.S.C., associate pastor, will officiate.  Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Kouts.  Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William, where the rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday.  She was a member of the Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and the South Bend Moose Auxiliary.  Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph County Cancer Society.
