MISHAWAKA - Opal D. Brock, 84, of
Oakland Street, died at 4:30 a.m. Sunday in St. Joseph Hospital.
Mrs. Brock retired in 1972 from Uniroyal Plastics Co. She was
born Oct. 2, 1910, in Mishawaka.
In 1925, in Elkhart, as Opal Gordon,
she married Herschel Brock. He died April 1, 1967. She is
survived by a son, Robert J. of Mishawaka; three grandchildren,
Lori Daugherty of Colorado Springs, Colo., Mark Brock of South
Bend and Bret Brock of North Liberty; and a great-granddaughter.
Services will be at 7 p.m. today in
Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fairview
Cemetery. Friends may call two hours before services Tuesday in
the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the
American Heart Association.
