David S. Brown, age 72, of Lydick, this county, died in his home at 3:05 o’clock Monday afternoon. He was born in Warren township March 4, 1860, and spent his entire life in this county. He leaves his widow, Mrs. Susie Brown; three daughters, Mrs. Wayne Swigart,  Miami road; Mrs. Lloyd Ransom, Lydick and Miss Clara Brown, Lydick; three grandchildren; two sisters. Mrs. Ella Carleton (Carlton) and Mrs. Rhoda Brown, Warren township, and one brother, Wilbur Brown, Warren township.
 Funeral rites will take place at 3 o’clock Thursday afternoon from the residence. Rev. Elmer Ward Cole, D.D., of First Christian church, will read the service and burial will be in Mt. Pleasant cemetery. Mr. Brown was a member of Gleaners’ lodge at cottage Hill, Ind.

Last rites for David Brown, Lydick, this county, will take place at 3 o’clock Thursday afternoon in the residence. Rev. Elmer Ward Cole, D.D., of First Christian church, and Rev. Elmer E. Smith of Lydick, will officiate and burial will be in Mt. Pleasant cemetery.
