NEW CARLISLE - Esther M. Brown, 85,
of Indianapolis, formerly of New Carlisle, died Tuesday in
Northwest Manor Healthcare Center, Indianapolis. Mrs. Brown was
born June 28, 1909, in Toledo, Ohio.
Her husband, Orville Kenneth Brown Sr.,
preceded her in death. She is survived by two daughters,
Bernadine B. Steele of Indianapolis and Edna M. Puckett
of Lebanon, Ind.; two sons, Orville K. Jr. of Honolulu and Horace
L. of Tucson, Ariz.; eight grandchildren; and three
great-grandchildren.
Graveside services and burial will be at 1
p.m. Saturday in New Carlisle Cemetery. Friends may call from 2
to 8 p.m. Friday in Bethel United Methodist Church, Indianapolis.
